iShine seasonally offers public auditions for our tours and TV show. For the most up to date dates, locations, and key information; please sign up for our free email list.
For those who cannot attend a personal audition, we will consider a mail-in audition. However, we prefer strongly to see and meet potential artists in person. If no other option is feasible, we will review live video and audio of a performance. Please note; no unsolicited demo’s or song selections will be used in any iShine productions or broadcast.
For artists seeking to mail in an audition, please include a short DVD or Drive of your live performance, a bio, head shot and copies of any produced work. We compile audition documents and review as a creative team periodically, 2-3 x per year. So please don’t email or contact us beyond confirmation of receipt. Thank you ☺

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we feel like people should act differently. Whether it is because they aren’t living the way we feel like they should in Christ, or they are being major bullies.
It is hard to know what do to, especially when it affects us or our friends and family. If you are the individual being hurt by a bully, we want you to know that there is nothing wrong with you, and you aren’t alone.
When people are being bullies, and hypocrites, it usually has nothing to do with the people being picked on, and everything to do with bullies having lack of confidence, trying to feel like they have power over people.

Dating and Sexuality are the most sensitive questions we receive at iShine. Our first and strongest response is to ask your PARENTS!
If you’re looking for advice and feel uncomfortable talking with your mom and dad, we recommend a trusted friends parents or a local pastor.
Dating is a controversial issue for parents of tweens and teens. Many families require kids to wait to date until late teen years, some are very open-minded provided there are chaperones etc.… regardless, we believe God provides wisdom for each family on a case-by-case basis. Therefore, mom and dad get to decide for you! At iShine we don’t take sides or offer firm advice on these details, we respect many different views on dating and age/stage decisions.
As far as dealing with Sexuality and Sex before marriage, we support the biblical model of abstinence (means to wait until ‘married’ ). If these are confusing or very embarrassing issues for you to navigate on your own, we recommend “Secret Keeper Girls” for purity and dating resources, as well as Remedy Live for crisis counseling if you find yourself struggling with a difficult circumstance. For FREE advice about your situation text “Remedy” to 313131
As a ministry we don’t take sides between parents and tweens. (remember, we’re parents too ☺ ) If you have a serious concern and can’t find a way to speak with mom or dad… we highly recommend you write it down and leave a note for them. Or… talk with an Aunt, Uncle, Grandparent or Local pastor you trust.
The emerging opinions and viewpoints of your young adult mind are valid and important to share, but it’s vital for you to respect your parent’s opinions by honoring what they want you to do even if you don’t agree with them. Adulthood (18+) is just around the corner, hang in there and you might just find your mom and dad get smarter as you get older.
Faith is a struggle for anyone at all stages and ages of life. For iShine and tweens, believing what your parents teach you isn’t our goal…
We want to help you discover things on your own. To find out if what Sunday school or church teaches is actually trustworthy and true. Your entire life stretches out ahead of you, what you believe will define your actions as an adult, and God can handle any question you have about him, yourself, the world or science.

Depression and fear are issues we all deal with. Things we must face every day as people. God’s promise isn’t for us to avoid the difficulties of living, but to be with us in them. His presence is our security. His peace is our promise. Trusting God to be with you is the key to unlocking fear and anxiety.
Depression is a normal side effect of stress. (Fatigue – Anxiety – Illness etc..) our bodies run down and lose the ability to maintain our normal blood chemistry. The result is often a ‘dip’ in our bodies neurotransmitters. The treatments are varied and unique to each of us. It’s normal for us to all experience a day or two of depression each month. It’s not normal to have it all the time. If your struggling with long term depression, you really need to talk with your parents and or pastor about it. They can help you determine if you need to see a doctor or talk with a licensed professional to help return to normal.
Faith is a big part of both of these issues and listening to God’s direction can be as simple as praying and then waiting for God to speak to you through the advice of friends, family and pastors that you know, trust, and respect.
You don’t have to walk through life alone.
We care about you. We care enough to take the time to write this out and make sure you get some good advice and support in your life. If you need more encouragement or help. We would recommend a great ministry called Remedy Live http://remedylive.com/ you can text “Remedy” to 313131
God bless you! Thanks for stopping by.
A popular question.
This may include you praying a prayer of surrender and repentance to God. Acknowledging your personal sin and need for salvation, humbly asking for forgiveness from Jesus Christ and pledging to follow him for life. According to scripture these are the fundamental parts of experiencing God’s forgiveness and ‘saving’ grace from the wages of sin which is eternal death and separation from God. Various forms of this prayer have been commonly used by churches in every nation for hundreds of years.
What we want you to consider is this… anyone can say these words. What matters to you and to God is if you ‘mean’ it. At the heart level we know that our words have much greater impact than if we just ‘repeat’ something to please someone. If you have in sincere faith prayed for Christ to be your Lord, and Savior. If you have surrendered your control to God’s leading and have admitted your need to be saved, at the heart level… then God’s promise to forgive and redeem your life is secure. The evidence of such a heart-felt commitment is the appearance or presence of God’s Holy Spirit in your life.
The Holy Spirit will enter a heart and affect a soul with entirely predictable results. A new attitude about life, God and others. A desire to spend time with God and his people, an interest in God’s word – the bible. New and surprising changes in your behavior, less interest in things that displease God and more interest in things that do. The bible calls these changes ‘fruit’ of the Spirit and they include new abilities like finding relief from fear… the presence of Gods peace, more patience, unexpected joy, kindness, gentleness & meekness and something the bible calls long-suffering.
No one can ‘certify’ you as a ‘saved’ soul, only Jesus can confirm that when He returns. BUT, we do know that the Holy Spirit is given to believers as an outward sign of an inward transformation and that God is eager for all of us to repent and turn to him for forgiveness and a new life. For more information on this or other theological questions, your local church is a great first step. (Youth or Children’s Pastor)
For leaders who submit orders of 25 tickets or more, we will designate you as a iShine Live Team Captain. We’ll be happy to ship you extra posters, FREE event tickets and a selection of FREE give-away iShine merch for your local church to enjoy before the show!
