The iShine Bible is a lot like other Bibles that you’ve seen, but it’s also unique. Let me give you a rundown of what you are going to find. Check out the table of contents and you will see that in the front of this Bible there are four special things.

1. What’s in the Bible. This short article tells you a bit more about why we have the Bible and how to read it.
2. Finding your identity in Jesus. This article gets right to the point. Why does Jesus matter and can you really know him? You’ll see that your true identity is found by knowing him, not in the stuff you have, your friends or anything else.
3. Growing in faith. So you understand that your identity is in Jesus, what’s next? Just like our bodies grow as we get older, our faith should too. This section gives some tips for a healthy spiritual life.
4. The Bible talks about . . . This is the place you will go back to over and over again. Everybody has questions about life, about how we are supposed to live and how to deal with problems. This is an easy to use list of some of the biggest questions and topics that you are likely to face. You’ll be amazed at just how much the Bible is about real life.
5. Tip-ins. Remember that part about value, identity, and purpose. We think that it is so important that we added specific sections (the color ones) to give you more info in these very important areas. If you miss everything else, check these out.
6. Finally, at the end of the Bible you are going to find three short lists – great stories, great chapters, and great verses to memorize. All of them focus on the big ideas of the Bible.
