About iShine Ministries: IShine is a Christian media group dedicated to ministering to “Tweens” and their families. Tween’s are defined as children between the ages of 7 and 13, and represent the single most influential age group in the world today. Main stream media and consumer marketing groups focus their messages of identity, popularity and value predominately to the “Tween” marketplace for a reason. We reach today’s “Tweens” through Biblically-based live concerts events (iShine LIVE!), Unique Television programming seen weekly on TBN (iShine KNECT), iShine artist releases to CD and DVD, interactive websites and a growing line of Books and Bibles all specifically designed to be relevant to this vital audience.

RADIO STATION PROGRAMMING FAQ:

How is the show delivered to stations each week and on what day?

Radio iShine is delivered to individual radio stations via FTP download, no later than Thursday Noon CT each and every week.

What day of the week do most stations run the show?

The majority of stations run it on the weekends, and their favorite time to capture a younger listening audience is on Saturday mornings. But you can choose which time slot works best for your local programming and when you believe tweens and teens will check out the show every week.
How long is the show each week?

Each show is available and programmed for a two-hour time slot. But if you only have one-hour of availability, the first hour can be played locally as a stand-alone show all on its own.

Does the show contain commercials or spots that we will need to play?

Yes. Each hour will include 60 seconds of spots/commercials [depending on if you are a commercial or non-comm station] that must be played in order to carry this free syndicated show. All of the spots are approved by iShine staff and are targeted at the audience it is intended for, completely safe for anyone that listens to Radio iShine.
How many segments will you provide each hour?
Three (3) segments are offered each hour, aprox. 18 minutes per segment. That leaves up to six (6) minutes of open air time for you to do local commercials/spots, top of the hour imaging, and anything else you need to put on the air during the allotted time for each week’s show. We will also provide an optional fourth segment that will include a brief intro and song, in case you need to fill up 3-4 minutes of the 6 minutes of air time that are made available to you each hour.

Will the show make up a weekly schedule, including song list and topical content for radio programmers?

Yes, a playlist and topic sheet will be available in download form with each show’s FTP download each week. Some of the content could be used for fulfillment of the educational requirement for your FCC license if you are a non-commercial radio frequency.
